Hands-On Training
To be ready
for fiber work in the field, our hands-on training provides
complete preparation for field technicians in a one-day
session. After completing the FiberOpticsInstitute.com
on-line course, technicians are taught important safety
issues, connector and splice installation, fiber link
testing, optoelectronic devices, and trouble shooting
fiber problems. This two-step training program provides
an excellent fiber education, combining practical knowledge
with the latest tools and techniques for successful fiber
installations. Technicians who attend a "Certification
Lab" can become listed as a "Certified Fiber
Optic Technician" by the Fiber Optic Association.
